Being held for the last 52 years, the New Delhi World Book Fair is a major calendar event in the world of publishing. This year, Ektara released about thirty new books at the book fair. Among these, ‘Jirhul’ by Jacinta Kerketta, ‘Panch Pairon Wali Haathi’ by Peeyush Shekseria, and ‘An Improbable Life’/’Shivputra Katha’ by Sopan Joshi were launched during the nine-days long fair. New issues of our magazines ‘Pluto’, ‘Cycle’, ‘Comixense’; three sets of Kavita Cards (reintroduced in a new packaging of hand printed cloth bag); and wall posters were so loved by our readers, they flew off the shelves each day!
